Information on the utilization of the genetic resource(s)
  • Non-Commercial
1. It is required to share research results and related publications with the local project partners and the Lao ABS authority to acknowledge the genetic resource providers.
2. This permission is used for research purposes only.
3. If further experiment on the biological resource mentioned above is used commercially, the Kagoshima University Museum, Kagoshima University, Japan must inform the authorities and establish the ABS agreement.
4. The ABS permission has to be extended annually until the end of the project and list of export samples must be attached to the application.
The biological resource is not allowed to the third party without permission from the provider and the ABS authority. 
Additional Information
The samples or specimens collected from this project about 12,000 samples/year will be taken out of Laos for DNA analysis and deposited at The Kagoshima University Museum, Kagoshima University, Japan.
