National Biodiversity Centre was established after Bhutan became a member of CBD. Currently, NBC looks after NBSAP, Access and Benefit Sharing, National Clearing House Mechanism, botanical collections, invertebrate repository, and Bhutan Biodiversity Portal (www.biodiversity.bt).
