As a recent party to the Nagoya Protocol, St. Kitts and Nevis in in the process of developing an National ABS legislation as well as an ABS Policy to full operationalize and formalize ABS procedures as well as to guide the institutional arrangement in the country. It is expected that this process would be completed by June of 2020.
