The purpose of the Department of Environmental Affairs website is to promote access to information by the general public and to profile the Department's activities and services.This website include a webpage dedicated for information on Bioprospecting, Access and Benefit Sharing regulatory tools, guidelines, relevant permit application forms and templates for benefit sharing agreement and material transfer agreement. This webpage also include awareness raising materials, information on the permits issued and contact detaisl of the National Focal Point and the Competent National Authority.
