The website of the Directorate within the Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights (MAFA) provides information on access and benefit sharing provisions emanating from international ABS instruments such as the Nagoya Protocol and the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture. The website also provides information relating to other main functions of the Directorate, including the control of propagation material, plant pests, plant produce and growing media entering Malta.
