This project research is under the project " A One-Health approach to estimate the prevalence and genetic diversity of gastrointestinal pathogens circulating among elephants, domesticated bovines and the human population living at the edge of the Nakai-Nam Theun National Park, Laos " which will conduct during 2022 to 2025.
The fecal samples from humans, domesticated bovines and wild elephants are collected from the Nakai Plateau and at the edge of the Nakai Nam Theun National Park

- This permission is used for research purposes only. If the genetic resources are used for commercial purposes, the Institut de recherche pour le développement du Lao must inform the relevant authority, and an agreement must be established.
- The applicant is required to acknowledge the country of origin of the genetic resources when making and using the Digital Sequencing Information (DSI) derived from these resources.
The genetic resources or the samples is not allowed to the third party without permission from the provider.
The genetic resources or samples (DNA extracted) collected from this project will be exported from the Lao PDR to the Research Institute for Health Science, Chiang Mai University, Thailand, for laboratory analysis.
