The Material Transfer Agreement has been signed between the INSTITUT PASTEUR DE GUADELOUPE, France and the Institut Pasteur du Laos (IPL), Ministry of Health, Lao PDR, dated 22 April 2025
1,000 samples of mosquito eggs (Aedes aegypti) were collected in Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR.

- The applicant is required to share research results and related publications with the local project partners and the Lao ABS authority to acknowledge the resource providers.
- This permission is used for the specific research mentioned above only.
- If further experiment on the resources OR their digital sequencing information is used for commercialization purposes, the INSTITUT PASTEUR DE GUADELOUPE, France, must inform the ABS authority and the local partner for establishing a new ABS agreement.
- The applicant requires to acknowledge the country origin of genetic resources when making and using the Digital Sequencing Information (DSI) from the genetic resources.
The collected samples mentioned above are not allowed to a third party without permission from the Lao ABS authority and the Institut Pasteur du Laos.
Mosquito egg samples (Aedes aegypti) will be exported from Lao PDR to the INSTITUT PASTEUR DE GUADELOUPE, France, to determine the influence of the origin on Aedes aegypti behavioral response and antennal odor perception to odors.
