Act. No. 263/2015 Col. on competences in area of the access to genetic resources and sharing of benefits araising from its utilization
This statutory instrument implements the Regulation (EU) No 511/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on compliance measures for users from the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization in the Union. It does not establish access rules at national level, because the Slovak republic decided not to apply the option to restrict access to genetic resources under the Nagoya Protocol.
It designates the competent national authority, checkpoints, inspection authority and also establish the rules and penalties applicable to violation of obligation under the Regulation (EU) No 511/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on compliance measures for users from the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization in the Union.
It designates the competent national authority, checkpoints, inspection authority and also establish the rules and penalties applicable to violation of obligation under the Regulation (EU) No 511/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on compliance measures for users from the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization in the Union.
