Plant Protection Directorate
The Directorate acts as the competent authority as understood in Regulation (EU) 511/2014 and in fulfilment of Article 7 of the same Regulation. It manages access to genetic resources over which Malta has sovereign rights, and the granting and communication of PICs, MATs and IRCCs as applicable.
