La Dirección de Biodiversidad, es la entidad que da seguimiento e implementación del Protocolo de Nagoya. Es la entidad que recibe las solicitudes de investigaciones y acceso a recursos genéticos que se realizan en el país. La Dirección de Biodiversidad recibe las solicitudes provenientes de Ventanilla Unica, dando opinion tecnica a la solictud y realizando el tramite correspondiente.
