The National Coordination Centre for Access to Genetic Resources and Benefit-Sharing
Checkpoint Responsibilities
The National Coordination Centre for Access to Genetic Resources and Benefit-Sharing requests the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus a prior informed consent and written evidence that access requirements have been met.
The National Coordination Centre for Access to Genetic Resources and Benefit-Sharing  informs on procedures for obtaining prior informed consent and establishing mutually agreed terms, including benefit-sharing, advises on applicable procedures and requirements for obtaining prior informed consent and entering into mutually agreed terms.
Сollection, analysis and systematization of information on the legislation relevant to genetic and benefit-sharing; 
Performing functions of the Checkpoint for monitoring the utilization of genetic resources; 
Constant contact with the Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
