*The National Biodiversity Centre being the ABS-National Focal Point shall upon execution of the Scoping Agreement or Access and Benefit Sharing Agreement, issue ‘National Permit equivalent to the Certificate of Compliance’ to a User.
*Issue a ‘Sample Transfer Certificate’ to facilitate the transfer of samples of genetic resources under a Scoping Agreement, Access and Benefit Sharing Agreement, Material Transfer Agreement and Standard Material Transfer Agreement.
*With the additional role as a Clearing-House Publishing Authority, the National Biodiversity Centre shall submit information related to ABS in the ABS Clearing House at https://absch.cbd.int/.
*As a Clearing-House Publishing Authority designate focal officials from the designated checkpoints as the National Authorized Users.
