Not more than 480 fecal samples of Tana River Mangabeys (Cercocebus galeritus)
will be collected per year. The samples will be opportunistically collected and
processed in the field into solid-phase cartridges, and together with the duplicates
they will be transported to KIPRE for storage in a -40°C freezer. Samples for export
will be between 20-480 fecal samples for a research project titled, "Anthropogenic
Impacts on the Activity Budget, Physiological Stress, and Parasites of the Tana
River Mangabeys, Kenya. The samples will subsequently be exported to the
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (RU) for advanced research analysis
and investigations,
