Welcome to the private IAC forum for IAC members and the ABS-CH team to virtually meet and discuss the ABS Clearing-House. The IAC forum can be accessed from the training website (https://training-absch.cbd.int/) or using the following link (https://training-absch.cbd.int/forums/iac). The ABS-CH training website (https://training-absch.cbd.int/) is a test environment we have setup to allow the IAC and other users to test drive the ABS Clearing-House by publishing, editing and deleting records and reviewing the common formats, without modifying the any of the live ABS Clearing-House real data. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further questions or problems accessing the forum or the ABS Clearing-House.
Since COP-MOP1, more than 9 months ago, we have implemented a number of improvements to the ABS Clearing-House website and IT infrastructure. We are also working on new features that will be soon finalized for your consideration and feedback at the first meeting of the IAC to be held on 28 - 30 October 2015, Montreal, Canada. In the meantime, we invite you take a look and if possible provide feedback on some of the major changes done so far.

Hello Matthew. We are starting the use of the ABSCH Training website and we want to know if only a member of the IAC can use it or it could be used for any other person previously registered. We ask this because we are organizing a national training workshop on ABSCH for national authorities. I appreciate in advance the answer to our question. Best regards. Dora.
Matthew; Thank you for your quick answer, explaining how could the participants may submit records in the training website. We are considering that all the participants in our ABSCH workshop, that are governmental officials, will play the role of national authorized users (NAU) and they will practice submitting MSR, CPC and VLR common formats. We are expecting 25 participants in the workshop and maybe it will be more easy to provide them generic logins as you have indicated. If we have understood correctly your indications, we want to know how are you thinking to monitor the training activities that we will develop during our workshop, that will be held on September 16th.
