What is the approval process for publishing national records?

  31 May 2018

National authorized users (NAUs) can enter information in the forms for national and reference records, review the information and save it as a draft. When a record is ready for publishing, the NAU is to send a request for publication to the publishing authority (PA).

The PA will then receive a request for approval on the management center (dashboard) of the ABS Clearing-House as well as by email. The PA can then choose to reject the submission (reasons will need to be provided), edit the draft or approve the publication in which case the record will then be published on the ABS Clearing-House.

Once the record is published, the NAU will receive an email informing of its publication. The status of the record in the management center will change and be reflected as “published”.
