Summary of ABS Responsibilities
Responsible for all genetic resources. Only designated competent national authority (CNA) for the country.
Additional Information
The competent authority is obliged to liaise with assistant authorities for the establishment of PIC and MAT when dealing with genetic resources pertinent to wildlife, birds and marine resources.
